Set the Institution Timezone

Choose the timezone used for dates, deadlines, grace periods, security codes, and scheduled actions.

Complete the task

  1. Open Update Timezone

    Select the Timezone tab and choose Update Timezone.

  2. Choose the institution timezone

    Search the timezone list and select the location that governs institutional operations.

  3. Save the timezone

    Select Save Timezone and wait for the success confirmation.

  4. Review time-sensitive workflows

    Confirm due dates, grace-period cutoffs, schedule times, examination times, and OTP expiry behavior.

Timezone affects enforcement

Financial holds, future-date validation, exam and attendance availability, and security expiry use institution-local time.
