Configure Branding, MailFrom, and Portal URL

Apply institution branding and configure the custom sender domain and public portal URL.

Before you begin

  • Access to the institution DNS provider and accurate branding files.

Complete the task

  1. Upload institution branding

    Add the web and mobile logos and save them. If no logo is available, supported communications fall back to the institution name.

  2. Set up MailFrom

    Add the institution’s sending domain, publish the displayed DNS records, verify the domain, SPF, and DKIM status, and confirm the generated sender address.

  3. Set up the Portal URL

    Enter the institution-controlled subdomain and save it.

  4. Publish the CNAME

    At the domain’s DNS provider, create the displayed CNAME record pointing to edu.oneclickrooms.com.

  5. Verify and refresh

    Use Verify CNAME and Refresh Status until the custom hostname and certificate are active.

DNS changes can take time

A saved portal URL is not active until the CNAME resolves to the expected target and Cloudflare reports the custom hostname as active.

How branding is used

Institution emails use the configured logo, institution footer, MailFrom address, and custom portal URL. The standard OCR for Education values are used only when an institution-specific value is unavailable.
