Create Academic Classes

Create programme classes, set their sequence and display label, then assign subjects and faculty.

Complete the task

  1. Select the academic hierarchy

    Choose Campus > Department > Programme so the class is created in the correct context.

  2. Enter the class label

    Use the institution’s familiar academic label, such as 1st Semester, and add a section when required.

  3. Choose the sequence

    Select the sequence that represents this class’s order in the programme. Promotions use this sequence to suggest the next class.

  4. Save the class

    Confirm the status and save. Class names are scoped to the programme and campus structure.

  5. Assign curriculum and faculty

    Use the class row actions to assign subjects and maintain the faculty responsible for each component.

Sequence is operational

The human-readable label explains the level to users; the numeric sequence drives promotion and equivalency checks.
