Configure Examination Governance

Choose who manages class-wide examinations and promotions at each campus.

Complete the task

  1. Find the campus row

    Each campus has its own Central Examination Owner and Promotion Authority.

  2. Choose the examination owner

    Select Department HOD for department-managed class-wide examinations or Examinations Office for centralized creation.

  3. Choose the promotion authority

    Select the role responsible for evaluating and recording promotion outcomes at that campus.

  4. Save the campus policy

    Select the row’s Save button and confirm the success toast.

One workflow, configurable owner

The examination structure remains class-wide; governance changes the responsible role rather than changing the exam into a single-subject workflow.

How Exam Types interact with governance

Campus Administration marks an Exam Type as Class-Wide Examination. The governance setting then determines whether the Department HOD or Examinations Office can create that class-wide schedule.
